This was my first time visiting this doctor. Him and his staff were very helpful. They explained to me my knee condition and why my knee is always hurting. Best part of my visit they explained to me what to expect before, during, and after my knee replacement surgery. They also, gave me a notebook to learn more knee replacement and if I had any questions I could call and they would do their best to answer any questions I may have.

First visit to Dr Yun.I had been warned that he does not have such a good bedside manner. We found him forthright, honest, mildly friendly, and clear. We chose him because he is highly recommended by several unrelated persons.

Dr YUN was highly recommended by at least 10 friends of mine! All said he had "no bedside manner". I disagree! He must have been sent to charm school.and it worked. I found him responsive and delightful. I switched from Cedars to have Dr YUN perform my hip surgery.

I'd had a bad knee for close to 30 years before finally choosing Dr. Yun as my surgeon. During that time, I saw many doctors, but never quite trusted anyone to work on my knee. I had researched Dr. Yun pretty thoroughly and knew he was among the finest surgeons anywhere in the world which is why I chose him. What I didn't anticipate was how much I would come to like him. He goes quickly, he's opinionated (as he should be), and he's all business. But he combines those qualities with kindness, encouragement, and warmth. I couldn't have have a better surgeon than Dr. Yun.

The wait time of 3 months for an appointment was a bit surprising, but once I got to the appointment, I was happy with Dr Yun's exam and plan.

Dr Andrew Yun replaced my hip two years ago. When I had a concern regarding my same hip recently I made an appointment to see him. The scheduler was able to fit me in within two days. Dr Yun was so empathetic to my concerns! He answered all my questions in a clear, understandable manner. I felt extremely confident and reassured in his responses to my many questions. He took a great deal of time and patience with me in the exam room. My husband had his knee replaced by Dr Yun one year ago and had a similar experience. Dr. Yun was referred to me based on an excellent experience by a friend who received a knee replacement that I am also in need of. Dr Yun is very knowledgeable, professional, and good at explaining what he does. His supporting material on-line and the handbook is EXCELLENT. I am now trying to figure out which physician to go with for my surgery. Dr Yun is busy and my concern is will there be enough individualized attention.

I was grateful for an appointment with surgeon Dr. Yun as I had a fracture and he does joint replacements only. Still he knows my history, having done my hip replacement In 2017, and I respect his evaluations and not those of others.

Dr. Yun is clearly experienced and skilled. However, he lacks any kind of kindness or empathy when speaking to me. I trust his judgement for the most part, but he could do a better job of understanding that when I ask questions, it has nothing to do with me questioning his skill and everything to do with me wanting to fully understand my health issues.

Dr. Yun is an excellent doctor who instills confidence in his skill as a surgeon, and after checking out several knee and hip surgeons before choosing one for my left hip and both my knees, I knew he was the right one for me, and after having my left hip replacement in August 2022 and my right knee replacement in June 2023, I am convinced I made a superlative choice.

I went to see Dr. Yun for my knee which he had replaced several years. I had fallen and I wanted to be sure everything was all right. He is the best, and when you are dealing with the best, it is often hard to get time to see him. See in the pain continued to decrease, I waited the month + to get in, because he IS the best!

Dr Yun made clear the choice between surgery or not.

Had an unusually long recovery and still in recovery 17 months since operation which is disheartening and painful at times. Not expection this to happen has been my horrible reality. That said the many visits I've had since the operation have been thorough and consistent and a matter of time I believe which is always a hard pill to swallow. But the doctor has been patient and always seems to do a thorough job of reviewing where I am and that the pain and discomfort will stop.

This doctor is the best and so is his staff.

I saw Dr Yun for an initial consultation for a hip replacement and I can honestly say I have never had a better office visit! From the the pre-visit information (including a video of what the office visit would entail) to the methodical manner I was moved from intake to XRay to pre-consultation to the meeting with Dr Yun, each step was perfectly choreographed. And each person I met with was pleasant and well-informed. It was a wonderful experience and I am convinced this is the right place for my hip replacement.

I was highly recommended to see Dr. Yun regarding my need to have a LEFT knee replacement soon. Several close friends have had replacements done by Dr. Yun, with very good results. I am hoping my recovery time will be less than I am currently experiencing with my right knee replacement that was done last November 2022, as I am still having pain and swelling in that knee after several hundred yards of walking, that still takes days to recover from. Dr. Yun explained that the right knee swelling is not uncommon, and that the right knee replacement was done properly.

Dr. Yun is a fine doctor who cares about his patients. I feel he knows and cares about me. He is a hip expert. He told me the truth about my situation and what I should do. Physical therapy is what he recommended. I trust him. He replaced both my hips. I used a different doctor for my knee replacement because his office was closer to my home. I regretted it. Awful after care. Dr. Yun's after care is EXCELLENT. Will always be grateful to Dr. Yun and his fine, kind, knowledgeable staff.
